One thing is passion, another thing is the job you have. You can always code at job, and if your passion is so strong to let you stay awake and code during the night, well, what's the matter in that case? Most of the times, coding at work is not so exciting, challenging or stimulating...just because there's some company's logic to respect... Nothing, in the coding world, is comparable to the immense satisfaction you get when some people email and thank you for the stuff you made publicly available.
