    20/20 or 60 minutes ran a store on it and found out that walmart was lying. Hell walmart was running the exact same campaign in Mexico that said Made in Mexico on the exact same goods which were all made in China.

    Why is it that Hams think those regs are set in stone? Acting like a brat by saying that you will transmit to harm BPL will result in getting said laws and regs changed.

    What assault weapons are more available now? Most of the things the 'assault' weapons ban banned were just cosmetic changes. They didn't change what they weapon did, they just changed the way it looked.

    You also ignore the fact that states that have conceled carry have lower gun crime rates than states that ban guns.

    And don't get me started on CALIFORNIA banning a class of gun that has never been used in a crime.

    I know this, but to match the performance of x86 chips they would have to use the G5. The G4 and other variants will not be fast enought.

    Those Dallas Semi (Now Maxim Semiconductor) http://www.maxim-ic.com/ chips are cool. I should be getting some of the ibuttons and ds 1 wire chips in the next 3-4 weeks.

    But it takes time for the contract shops to get up to speed just ask NVidia ;->

    Apple has been having trouble getting enought G5's for G5 Imac production. supply doesn't always equal demand when your suppliers are having trouble makeing the damn things. ;->

    Not when the stock market reacts, what is the lag between the policy being passed and the economy reacting to those changes.

    Day to day stock market movements are not based fully on economics, they are based more on what people are fealing and what they think they know.

    It is just a LITTLE harder than that. It takes 1 - 2 billion USD to build and bring online one modern fab. It also takes about 18-24 months from the time your break ground to you can begin to qualify they plant. After the plant is qualified (3-6 months) you will suffer reduced yields for an additional 2-4 months.

    As I said, it's kind of hard to build ne capacity quickly

    There isn't enought PPC production capacity to even supply 20% of the x86 market demand.

    See they gave the pro kerry article its own story yet the bush one gets put into a slashback. I may be just that the editors don't like me (random IP bans, total removal of my ability to mod) but it doesn't look like the politics section of /. is as fair as they said it would be.

    A Neocon is a NeoConservatice. They believe that the use of military force is OK as long as it isn't used to directly protect the USA. That is why they are for protecting other nations borders with the US Military and against protecting the borders of the United State with the same military.

    They also hate their kids and believe that current spending levels are OK and that future generations will pay off their debts.
