    Science is not reality. Science is an attempt to get close to a working model of reality. Science can never find Truth, but science fanboi's BELIEVE it does. At any given time, close to half of what science has discovered is false, it just hasn't been falsified yet. Then again, you appear to be a science fanboi so being the religious nutter you are, nothing will change your BELIEF.

    Do you know of any other country where government officials divide the world with their US and THEM rhetoric? Not sure if you've noticed, there is no other country that is so divided on almost every single issue. It's hard to notice this if you live in the middle of the propaganda, it really seems like USians believe the rest of the world is exactly as paranoid and fearful of any beliefs unlike their own.

    No, physics agrees with me. Unsustainability is unsustainable. Logically we should do something about it before it literally comes to kill or be killed. Figuratively, we are already there as the wealthy nations strip the poorer ones of their resources.

    One day, hopefully before it's too late, you dimwits will realize there's this other option called WE. We are all humans. Once you get used to the fact that killing/supressing/enslaving/opressing others to support an unsustainable lifestyle is unsustainable, maybe we can make real inroads into sustainability and cooperation.

    You can't change a deaf man's beliefs through a lecture. It's not my job to do other people's thinking for them, nor is this the appropriate forum for proofs.

    Sometimes, I sprinkle some truth around to see if there are any fertile minds around in the sea of sheeple, as a sort of crude gauge as to when all this stupid destructiveness of man and earth in the name of money will end.

    The sad thing is, that pretty much sums up all western medicine. It's a three shell game of hide the symptom.

    It's a little understandable. Most people were too ignorant to understand proper care of their bodies and dissemination of information wasn't the greatest. Unfortunately, we've almost painted ourselves into a corner now through all that coddling and pill giving, almost actively encouraging indulgence in harmful behaviours. Now, when we can disseminate the information easily, it's almost impossible to put into practice because we've almost destroyed any possibility of a healthy food supply for the average person.

    You are what you eat!

    Tell me, how do you get flexible lipid barriers when you only consume inflexible lipids? Did you know street sweepers can only get in there to clean up the small stuff when you have an unburdened garbage disposal system to pick up the big trash? Do you have any clue what the difference between a mechanism and a cause is? Difference between a symptom and a cause? Eating a proper diet of pesticide/herbicide/antibiotic/hormone laden foods isn't going to get you anywhere.

    If you belong to the small percentage of people who can't process those and your body warns you by perceiving them as having a horrible taste and odor, then yes avoid them. Generally good to avoid celery due to it's high level of pesticide residue though.

    Though in general, sulfur smells aren't my idea of toxic spill smells, more just like a round trip to hell.

    Nice made up false dichotomy. btw, hardly anybody dies at age 30 of cholera or malnutrition in any country, and life expectancy is a lot higher in Uganda.

    However, I would prefer to grow and cook my own food and die by any unintentional mistake than to die slowly by overtaxing my waste disposal systems by the intentional addition of non-natural ingredients solely for the sake of increasing a companies bottom line.

    Byproducts. Just because you can't comprehend how that explains clearly doesn't mean I'm the idiot. Most non-idiots understand that the general term 'chemicals' refers to human produced chemicals and not naturally occuring ones, but nice science fanboi strawman there. If you think that man made chemicals have the same properties as their natural counterparts you obviously don't know your american history very well. Capitalism demands that a company be as profitable as possible. Flouride led the way to show that it is more profitable to sell toxic byproducts as additives than to pay to dispose of them. Do you know how many GMO corn byproducts are disposed of in US 'food' items? It's ok, keep drinking the kool-aid and loading up on twinkies, it's not my body. I just hope the US destroys itself through stupidity before it causes irreparable damage to the world food system.

    Not sure if you're being sarcastic. But here goes.

    Prosciutto only contains NaCl salt. Salt causing heart disease is not scientifically proven, it has been inferred by a simplistic model and not really corroborated by any evidence. When referering to sodium in products, most is not in the form of NaCl, but as nitrate, nitrite, erthyrobate, etc... , these are the forms that make your BO stink to high heaven to breakdown and get rid of. A pretty good rule of thumb is anything that you eat that makes you stink like a toxic chemical spill should probably be avoided in the future.
