I'm not a gamer, I'm a developer - so I'm not their target market - but I think the see through drivers are cool and would've considered a purchase of their card to get the opportunity to play with them. So I think their decision stinks.
However, I still may buy their hardware in the future - I think it's great for a company to actually listen to their target market. It simply doesn't happen enough anymore.
Ok, maybe I'm missing something - but how did they overcome gravity on earth to test this? I've heard of the "airplane drop" so simulate 0g, but that's all I know of. Is there some technology to create 0g on earth now?
Right, that's a great point... I really should be sure to spellcheck a 15 second post - it's might have implications on my career and/or personal life. I will also heed the implicit advice from your brialliant response and use the only 'official' internet spellchecker, the Modern American language dictionary. You know the one I mean, the one that corrects colour with color.
I wonder if you ever stopped to check if attourney was in a dictionary. Mine shows it as an acceptable alternate spelling, acceptable since the days of olde english. Dang, there I go again... old english, sorry.
I assume Intel has patents on their processor - I write code that interfaces with Intel processors. I assume Microsoft has patents on their API/OS - I write code that interfaces with their API/OS. I better call my attourney!
