Some of these changes oddly seem to imply that they plan on going after AOL in its violations. Particualry the clarifications on including a copy of the modified source code as well as the restirctions on including GPL'd software in propiratary devices. They also mention that a URL to the GPL is not enough because there is no ware to assure that a URL will be vaild in the future. Pretty interesting.
I was able to play this for a bit at E3 and I must say it was pretty impressive... not as good as Warcraft III was, but I am definately looking forward to this expansion.
Go ahead and login to AIM with your ICQ UIN as your screen name and your password as your ICQ's password. You can use the aim client to send and recieve messages to other ICQ users, but not AIM users. You can however enter AIM chatrooms with other aim users and chat as normal. Last time I checked the buddylist dosent work at all if you logon with your UIN.
This has worked for the better part of a year, so I have been expecting this merger for quite some time.
