I recently had a move and swbell in general really screwed everything up (I was without a phone for 10 days) then after they got that straightened out they gave me the real good news, it would take 2 months to move my dsl line. I told them no thank and called and had my cable modem installed 3 days later. The DSL line was great, only down about 3 times in the year that I had it, but that kind of lead time for a move or conversely a month for any new install is really unacceptable.
