I've had a horrible experience with Bell Atlantic. I wanted to put the DSL on my second house line. Everyone I talked to at BA said I could do this without a problem. It never worked. Thinking it was a problem with my phone lines, they sent out an analog tech to my building when I wasn't there. When I got home I noticed that while the DSL modem was powered on my phones did not work.
Finally, after 2 months, a high level technician told me I couldn't have DSL on the second line without a special setup. They would have to send out a DSL tech to run a "home-run?" line for me. Its been 3 weeks with no word from them.
I'm canceling today and getting the Cablevision service.
