actually, several hotmail front end servers are still running freebsd. excerpt from the latest netcraft web server survey:

We were premature with last month's comment to the effect that Windows 2000 had replaced FreeBSD at HotMail. Markus Senoner was first to point out that although www.hotmail.com is indeed running Windows 2000, several of the other HotMail front end servers are still running FreeBSD.

Not all of hotmail's servers have been converted to W2K as yet. Some are still running FreeBSD (source: Netcraft) and reportedly many of their back end servers are still running some form of Unix.
No.. no bluscreens yet. But numerous hangs (about once every week) on my w2k macine at work. oh.. i forgot the usual windows apologists refrain: it's either the user's or the applications fault. yea.. whatever
