Not bad, not bad at all! A nice rounding out choice. It's drama but it's also a bit of a comedy.
Outlaw Star is a neat balancing act to the whole Toonami line up. Another Space Drama of course. Which isn't bad. This one who hasn't seen Outlaw Star has hits of Tenchi but more the Tenchi Universe Variant.
It's not a show I would buy, but it was one that I enjoyed watching.
If you want more info reply, I watched the entire series.

Unfortantly this is how the world works. HOWEVER someone is getting paid to make the toys, someone is getting paid to market the toys, someone is getting paid to sell the toys at the story.. OOH look It's America.
Sure kids are starving on the street and all but hey, CONSUME! This is america after all ^_^

While the applications of this are wonderful... doors that open by detecting your hair... Stuff of Back to the Future Movies.. there's one problem... Privacy issues.
With so much advancement in mapping the human genome accomplished, pretty soon the federal goverment will be able to tell who's most suited for war, for being a librarian, for having ingrown toenails.. for cloning.. for other things that sci-fi movies are made of.
While it would be nice to be able to identify criminals by having EVERYONE on record, I long hair that tends to shed alot. I'm pretty sure that somewhere a crime has been commited and my hair was left behind ^_-
Of course this is just paranoia speaking but someone had to bring it up I guess.
OH! The controversy! The age old question.. is it right for me to bypass the link?
For the sake of not beating the topic dead, and it's almost one boot the teeth away from that point.. but..
It seems this registration info is for the purpose of entering it into a database. Which could help them determine who's reading and who the target audience should be.
*DING* Happy sound... Maybe more articles targeted at our diverse slashdot demographic?
Right.
I'm not registering. Reason? Time issues, Spam issues. Plus it may be there but I didn't notice that they DIDN'T say they wouldn't give out the info to others, and all I need (as a female tech) is another "HOT XXX CHICKS" e-mail to pop up in my inbox while I'm at work. (Oh yeah sure you THINK the NY times wouldn't sell to the porn guys... )
But seriously. Looking at the page I noticed no "no spam" disclaimer, and they are asking if you want to join up with at least ONE known spamzilla.
Plus, on final note. No money lost - no harm.
