Seems fairly worthless to me to do this. Firstly someone will talk, someone always talks, second I would think the more capable minds you have working on this the more likely you would be to produced effective solutions to the problem. Besides if the risks are there, should the users be the first to know? Isn't that what its all about?

  5. What does it take to clone? on Human clones priced at $50,000 · · Score: 1

What do you need to make a clone of someone will a strand of hair, skin cells, finger nail? Its an interesting prospect to clone the intellectual giants of previous generation. And if we could in fact clone these greats whats the probability that they can repeat thier feats of greatness? Is it the enviroment they grew up in or is they physical traits enough to resurect thier genius? Just a thought. Lets see what Einstein can do with todays technology. (My spelling is attrocious(sp). yuck.)

with all the con artists, I am surprised to see there havent been some lovely frivoulis(sp) lawsuits to rear thier ugly heads. It seems to me the people that end up getting scammed are not only gullible and dim-witted but also love to look for someone, anyone else to blame when they get ripped off.

  10. startups on NY's Silicon Alley Feels The Crunch · · Score: 1

Have the high-tech startups beocme the get-rich-quick idea of the 10's decade. The problem with so many of these business is they are decent or really good ideas but, their business plans are written to please some venture capitalists and dont focus on long term reality. IMHO anyway

  11. Fear us more maybe? on Living Terrors · · Score: 1

It seems to me while this book points out other countries and our flaws in dealing with a bio-attack, it would be interesting to know what we have hidden in the way of bio-warefare. There is so much that public doesn't have a clue of whats going on or even congress for that matter its hard to tell what secrets we have hidden. In the past our government has already proved to be testing stuff like this, Tuskeegee?, and desert storm maybe our own creation gone bad? We could have our own bio-nuke just waiting to be another hiroshima. That could really add to W's executions.
