Actually are about the same price their the normal G3 went for when first released. So you are basically getting a dual system for the price you could have expected to pay for a single G4.

You can customize your computer if you buy it though Apples web site, they don't have tons of options but about as many as any company, DELL, Gateway, HP etc, when it comes to customizing a pre built computer.
AMD had dual Athlon 1000 running as the game servers at QuakeCon 2000 back in Aug. But I haven't seen a motherboard for sale that can take two athlons:(
