  5. well is this April fools? or is this real? on Napster Servers on an Indian Reservation? · · Score: 2

    if it is:

Well if its not I would like to point out that America(tm) has/will again abuse the native's rights. If you want to see a war over napster and the mpaa, I bet anything that if your connection to the net was coming directly from American providers, it would be switched off in days. Here is a good idea, but its hard to put it to the test without too much trouble. The key? Put it in a reservation that borders two countrys. Thats right folks, there is an indian reservation that is part of canada and america. So buy lines from both places, and get some sky bandwidth, boom you are going to have a much better time. But then again you have twice the problem and there is nothing that will stop one country from scratching the others back. But an international incident isnt in the usa's best interest. Same goes for canada. However each side could simply take over the reservation on each side. So the us goes into the part on US soil, and canada does the same. But I might be getting carried away.

This doesnt even address the fact that who ever owns the servers will be sued untill they are dead. Just remember the flaw with it being on sealand, your not there.

I hope this is a joke but if its not, nice idea.
But I would rather see what happens when sealand does it first. Then try this with native american's land. Oh yea try and get them to let you do it first, after all its gonna be hard to convice them why they should jeperdize their land. America has screwed them before, nothing is stopping them, certianly not the money backing the mpaa. Its also hard to stop people from running a casino on their own land when nothing needs to come from the area around it (other then power(i think?)) Data lines arent going to piss of the public at large (assuming there isnt a media black out) but power might be considered inhumane. Also whats to stop the mpaa from dosing them? Or even bettter; hijacking their entire network?

And I know that i cant spell.
