I can't beleave I'm hearing this. USB sucks plain and simple I'm tired of seeing all this useless usb junk usb mice and keyboards are fine, but isn't that what ps/2 ports are for? USB printers are fine but then again there is the parallel port is for. The only usb device that I have found is better then using the traditional the port is scanners. A NIC is better then usb any day... I mean come on you can like pick one up almost any where for $15.00 or so.
I'm glad they support usb but they should also suport Ethernet 100% none of this O we are going to released USB now and Ethernet latter.
At my work we sell these fooed things... I see that by following the instructions listed you do not have to use there eviL crap software, however this maybe a bad thing because this software uses some freaky proxy server that some how speeds up the connection at least I think that's what it does. With IE or Netscape setup to go threw there proxy you get around 350Kbs download 20/30Kbs upload, with out it setup for the proxy you get around 30/40kbs download and 1/5kbs upload. So I was wondering what kind of speeds people get with the modified usb modems?
May I also note a big warning to any one how buys these, like most proxies it only suports certain protocols. So like telnet you only get around 30kbs download and 1/5kbs upload, and the large ping times you get because of the distance the singal has to travel, so forget about runing telnet or playing games.
Ok why does the gov. always think that they should censor what we look at. Did you ever stop to think if people got together and said that the cow was ugly and stuped and should be censored. You know what we would have abuch of fluffy cows that are mute. So would the gov. stop censoring things and don't censor the cow!!!
