    there is no comparison bet. the 2...Java vs. RoR is major vs. minor leagues.

    That is due to the fact that Java is the most all-encompassing programming language. In the same sense that Windows is the most pervasive operating systems. The attackers shoot for the bugs where they have the most bang for the buck.
