  1. crash on At Last, Mir to be Ditched · · Score: 1

Judging by the previous standard of MIR, what do you think is the chance it will actually hit Melbourne or Sydney. I personally will be looking for a bunker/bomb-shelter. The problem with it being "near Australia" is that if they miss and hit Australia it will hit the East coast. The east coast is where all our population is. BTW I've been to the town where skylab hit :)

  2. Re:Missing the point? on Making Crude Oil From Tires · · Score: 1

It is possible IMHO that fossil fuels are less polluting in a solid form as in Tires than in gaseous form as in CO2. That is if the piles of tyres never catch fire.

  3. There is only one hope on NZ Government Pushes For Wide Spying Powers · · Score: 1

With backdoors into everybody's machines there is still hope. Where will they look, if they have access to every computer they will try to look in every computer on "fishing expeditions" and is there any government outthere with the time to look inevery computer. They will find themselves unable to decide what machines to searchand will probably only search those where they have suspitions. Just don't make them suspicious.

  4. difficult on Network Solutions Sued for Cyber-Squatting · · Score: 1

This behavoir seems to be a bit nasty when you consider the difficulty one faces these days trying to get a good domain name. I'm sure most people have noticed that the number of words necessary in a name for it to be available is getting longer. In attempting to find a domain I have had to resort to Latin and Ancient greek but thet is not even enough.

  5. HEHEHE on What Are Your Ten Best Palm Apps? · · Score: 1

My two favorite palm apps are both games, Hardball and Kyle's Quest. Games are a really good way to pass the time on the train on your way to werk. I also really like Big Clock. Hehe

  6. Re:Amiga RIP on Amiga, Inc. Announces AmigaOne Spec... Sort Of. · · Score: 1

Hey I don't care about the screams of horror but I still use an Amiga1200 (the 1992 release) for producing music. As far as I know they are the cheapest samplers in the world.
