I'm all for open government. But every intimate detail isnt needed, nor in the best interest of the public. So I hardly feel bad for someone who enables intrusion when they get the exact same treatment back.
In order to set a precedent, shouldnt the efforts of such people to be setting a good example? Fight to open unnessarily classified documents and post them via the Freedom of Information Act, instead of stealing and making yourself a criminal. Use the system. Maters are so 1000 years ago.
