No matter what Anti Virus software you use it will never be up to date enough.
I think if they only allowed logging in to any server by trusted IP's ie ms ip's then this may not have happened. Usernames or passwords don't matter if you don't even get a login prompt. But if they don't take timeout of the World Dominance thing to check their security, they deserve to be attacked!
