Every library I have been to in the past 5 years has an internet ready computer. Virtually everyone who has access to a town with polling booths has access to a computer. The cost of the programs necessary to ready society for internet voting pales in comparison to the cost of polititions constantly raping us
Why do we even have politicians my name is Wayne Smoot come and lock me up or assasainate me if you want to for saying this but why do we need an electoral college to vote for us, this is not the 1800's. We don't need politicians anymore if you care about a law then you go online and vote on it one way or the other whatever you believe as an individual. Yes it with take up our precious TV time but it will also give us the knowledge that we are the only ones to blame if there are hormones in our food, children are without school supplies or someone is dumping trash in our backyard. I'm tired of hearing about politicians selling my health and buying things (from thier buddys) with my money for way to much. If I knew how to make this a main discussion topic I would but I am new to slashdot. If you think this would be approved or possible or if you just agree with this idea and have theories on how to impliment it give me an email at nos@visual-e.net. Some government is vitally important, politicians a obsolete. Politicians are also bad influences on todays youth.
