There's been a small debate about this book around the net because of its heavy emphasis on CGI.pm (Great and wonderful and all that, but uses a lot of memory and loading it can add a brief delay).
The previous edition had lots more on dealing with CGI without CGI.pm Fortunately, O'Reilly has been good enough to post the old version on the net (free):
