I remember seeing that one in a fischer book I had. I did build heaps of other fun stuff though. My dad still has all the stuff - waiting for the graddkids... We took it out and had a look on the weekend - still in very good condition after 10 years.
I had Fischer Technik too. It's amazing stuff, ranging from the basic blocks through the structural pieces to build bridges up to the electronic boxes including nand gates and similar.
The best part, I think is that it is so tuff. My brother and I must have punished those pieces to near death but I can't remember anything breaking.
My dad has them now and he is waiting for the grandchildren (when they come) to play with them. I am sure I'll have a lot of fun then too.
Hey, if it was my gf she would probably want to play...
No interest in Quake or Linux though but I have got her to send those fun emails to me at work with PGP.
I have an account on lokmail.
http://www.lokmail.net It uses PGP and you can provide your own key pair. I think it uses https for communication between your web browser and them.
I have no idea how secure it is but it works ok for me.

They do this in Australia. Every postal address has a unique number and it can be barcoded on the front of envelopes.

Its a much better (simpler and easier) design
than the ones shown. It only requires the IRDA module, 1 resistor and the MoBo socket.
A friend of mine has bought a heap of modules and we are about to install them.
Wireless palm sync - WOW.
