I don't think BlackStar endebted to Conway in particular. BlackStar use Perl
for all their front-end and back-end systems, and some of their developers are
fanatical Perl Hackers. They want to wear a 'Damian Conway is my bitch' T-shirt
as a statement of fact:-) One of them also had a bit too much to drink.
The non-hacker directors probably thought it would be good marketing.
