Who is guilty of smacking/kicking the PC or mainframe? I bet this helps stability alot.
Don't forget about you local music scene. Unsigned artist can entertain us too. We can use our technology to create our own Radio stations (commercial free), make and distrubute CDs for local musicians, and create an environment for real music, not the corporate rock crap that currently fills our FM stations.
Plus Apples got a great idea. Do the math. For me, I have 11520 tracks I had to rip off my store bought CDs into digital format (avg 12 songs per CD, thats 960 CDs!) In the Stores, I spent about $15360 dollars on music (avg price 16 bucks). At Apples prices I would have saved $3955.2 bucks. I could have stared my own broad cast station for that.
Not to mention is keeps great logs (if you select that option)of all messages. Finance companies are looking to track all aspects of employee communication to avoid all insinuations of illegal activity. Changing trillion to keep logs on a company server and making the files an encrypted format instead of text wouldn't be overly difficult. Not to mention if huge companies backed a for-fee version of trillion, think how great the free version could be. Not that it isn't already great! Jeez, why stop there, let the finance companies revolutionize the IM industry by making real standards. Then us slash-dotters could make our own chat proggie, non-loggable, non-traceable, hehe.
There will always be a way to communicate with out easily being traced.
Politics and politicians are the real trouble here. When you think of resources, think of the diamond market. Diamonds are common, but the politics in control keep the percentage of available diamonds small. Also do not forget, that the politicians also have alot to gain by holding back technology. Since most of of the major Politicians of the world use thier stock in or seat on the board of a petroleum company to keep them sitting high, they have alot less to gain financially by producing electric cars. Wether we are talking about the WWF or the WWE both make me feel like I have lost brain cells for having been intertwined with their overzealous approach to entertainment.
