I think linux is quite done, especially with the 2.4.0 kernel coming out with USB support. Linux has staroffice, real player, etc apps that windows users would want. All linux needs now is some *quality* apps and fix the little details for dirivers for printers etc.
they said they would have these flying ufo thingies that go into stores and buy food for you on tv. they said that they would be marketed and used by 2000. haha. Now they say the're going to create a helicopter that goes into a fire, takes photos, determines if things are readioactive by reading the labels and come back.. HAHA losers.
the first program designed for this 3d virtual reality thing.
All of this gets printed to the helmet:
funcion 3d_helmet_thing_detected
{
set bg red;
set fg blue;
if helmet_resolution/= 1024x864 then
{
set brightness = maxbrightness
echo "PLEASE!! SET YOUR VIRTUAL REALITY HELMET TO A SUATIBLE RESOLUTION SO YOU WONT BE BLINDED!!! PLEASE!!!"
}
etc
}

"The Keyboard that will Change the World."
The Keybowl[tm] keyboard offers much greater flexibility in meeting the needs of its users. For
the first time, anyone who types has the ability to adjust a keyboard to suit their own requirements.
The Keybowl[tm] is . . . Your key to a higher quality of life and pain-free productivity!
o Totally eliminates finger movement
o Minimizes wrist movement
o Easy to learn
o A solution to carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) as it relates to typing.
o Allows people with upper extremity disabilities to effectively type, interact with, and navigate with little or no pain.
Because the Keybowl[tm] offers great flexibility in accommodating any user who wishes to type, some users type at much greater speeds than when they use a flat or traditional keyboard. The most researched keyboard. Visit our ergonomic research section to learn about the development of the Keybowl[tm].

error: the document contained no data
Well it's a keyboard, no buttons. Since the site's been /.ed nobody knows what is looks like...
mice wont have buttons too... oh wait Imac people already did that...
Great, but will this BOARD support linux...? After all, it's just a BOARD, not a KEYBOARD.
Well yes, it's good that gnome is developing a new file manager. Becuase:
1. konquerer is a show off. It tryes to become a browser and doesn't even understand the DIV = "center" tag.
2. the 1.2 gnome file manager is pretty much unconfigurable.
