Actually, we've already started down that road. For example, you can not resell Everquest, it says so in the License Agreement. They can ban your account if they determine that it has been sold.
Well, maybe AO still has a chance...Ultima Onlina opened with a huge amount of bugs, and is still played fervently today. To a lesser extent, Everquest had a few early problems, but not as bad as this.
Which begs the question: Did they run out of money and need to sell games to keep everything going? This doesn't sound liek something I'd like to put my money into...

I understand their frustration with the current state of the planet, I can feel their need to speak out against it's abuse, and I can identify with their cause, but my support stops short of violence.
Torching SUVs is a lot easier than changing the world and the perceptions of those around you.
As an environmentalist, I have to condemn this.
