Why not just use paper ballots?

I think that this attitude to get everything 'e-something' is not the way to solve those electoral problems. As you see, even now, with those pretty simple ballots, there are already confused people. The system we use here in Europe just works by using a simple sheet of paper with two columns on it: candidate name/space to make a 'X'. I've never heard of greater amounts of faulty votes with this. Even if your cross reached the wrong table row, you can still blacken out the field and get a new 'X' in there.
