Well if they are comparable products it doesn't, but if they are inferior products at a larger mark-up but still less expensive than the better products at a local competitor it increases the TCO of the cheap stuff.
Inconvenience Discount coupons to non-IE users is like getting paid to use Firefox; Firefox is going to be half of their traffic untill they pull their heads out of their asses! No wonder they took the site off-line the dumb shits.
Lenovo-compatible PC"? What the FUCK? yes our DRM software require all of the current ChiCom backdoors to insure user compliance with our EULA's by means of user monitoring.
Well what ever happened somebody is scrambling over there TFA said the site rejected non-ie browsers on non M$ OS's, now the site is down, it told Firefox on Linux, site unavailable, I changed the user agent to report IE 6 on WinXP and the site is still unavailable, on a real WinXP machine using IE7 the site is still unavailable so I guess that the site is broken. I wouldn't doubt the problem revolves around the fact that they were offers discount coupons for the inconvenience; My first thought was "cool log in on a Linux machine get bounced and get a coupon, get on WinXP and redeem the discount, almost like being paid to use Firefox!" Guess I'm not really surprised it didn't last, but in there defense the video site was marked beta quite prominently.
Basically it's because there is no police force in Iraq, It's easy to train the Iraqis to be entry level policemen, and it's easy to train the top level police; what's very difficult is to train the middle-management, it takes about 5 years to get a good sergeant. The previous middle-management got to where they were by being ruthless sadistic racist/tribalist predators and really can be trusted, so if we don't do it, it wouldn't get done.
Generally there is a negotiated relationship between the cost of an end item, and the cost of all the parts that make up that end-item. What normally happens is that there are numerous parts that aren't specifically price, but priced by formula and when you change the price on one part, you can change the price on all of the parts, so if one part that isn't ever used is priced outrageously high and that price is changed, then the price of parts that are actually used are increased to keep the part to end-item ratio intact.
I think the biggest part of the problem is that the "bad guys" don't have ID, so it's hard to tell the difference in a "bad guy" that you should say say "we'll be watching you boy" and let go and a "bad guy" you need to lock up real quick. For example they take a look at a bunch of men coming out of a mosque know for radical incitement, you take their prints and find out that out of the ten, nine are know to live localy, but one has been observed at five other mosques located hundreds of miles apart all known for radical incitement, now you can tell nine to stay out of trouble and take the one hard-case downtown.
If we can separate out the.01% of the domestic instigators and separate out all the foreign instigator, Iraq has a chance, if not it's going to make Northern Ireland's trouble look like a fairytale.
Oh yeah well just remember in the war of 1812 we lost every battle and still kicked your limey arses! OK so we won the battle of New Oreleans, but that happened after the war was over so it doesn't count.
They will not have to fingerprint us for traffic violations, with a national ID Card, the government will know what our fingerprint are. Didn't you see the picture that went with it? They were fingerprinting "bad guys". well considering that the "bad guys" were being fingerprinted with their hands cuffed behind them, I'd say the troops were pretty sure they were "bad guys"; five years ago those "bad guys" would have just got "disappeared" by Saddam's people anyways.
I think we should get the show "The Fall Of Saigon" translated into arabic and show it on Iraqi TV for a week, project it against the wall of buildings at night until at least half of the Iraqi have seen it and then say "we can leave and we can leave quickly; if you are going to get your shit together, we can stay and help, or we can leave and most you will wish we had stayed"
If the school sends someone to ask him not to do something specific with those things, then his reaction should be, "Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't realize. I'll stop now." The school has every right to do so. They also have the right to ask him not to cover the topic in the class. These are the people paying his salary, and if they don't want this going on, they can tell him to stop. I think the point is not that the school is asking him to do anything, it's the school's IT department along with the school's rent-a-cops. We don't know what the school want's only what some of the school's employees want an other school employee to do. Finding out what the School wants is going to be like mating elephants, it'll be noisy, it'll take place at a high level, it'll take two years to produce results, and the mice are likely to be trampled and the IT dept and the rent-a-cops are most likely to be the mice.
Like many/.ers I discovered that about the 7th grade that I really was as smart as my teachers, just less educated; and like many I took things into my own hands and a lot of what I actually learned was self directed. When you get into college, self-directed learning isn't unusual, it's expected and called research. Students are supposed to do research, and frequently poke their heads into unproductive areas and that's ok because finding out what doesn't work is learning too. IT at a university had better expect that there will be all kinds of whacko stuff on their networks being used in new and unexpected ways.
I find it curious that the other day we find out about legislation that would let the AG regulate theoretically what data and logs must be kept by ISP's and for how long they must be kept, and now the university's network admins and police are wigging out about an internet anonymisizer. Given the amount of monies universities are making off patents resulting from academic research, you would think that the use of a security device like TOR would be mandatory. Anything that makes it easier for the government to track child-porn and terrorists also makes it easier for foreign governmental and industrial spy's to conduct espionage. Anything that points to where a researcher's thoughts are headed would have to be considered probably information of intelligence value. If I had a business that had any R and D involved in it, I wouldn't even reveal if somebody was a former employee or not.
if only the good stuff is obscured by TOR then they know that their is good stuff so he should use TOR for mundane browsing as well; if your going to shred paper with sensitive info on it like account numbers, then you should shred all mail and maybe a newspaper or two for good measure.
Non-Profit just means that expenses must meet revenues each year; our two local non-profit hospitals have become the second largest employers and the largest property owners.
third party health care payor are in the middle and competing at both ends; here's what frequently happens. Company A may pay a higher reasonable and customary fee to the provider (95%), but they may also demand that the provider accepts the payment, this means the provide can not charge the patient the difference between what the insurance pays and what the provider's normally charges and has to write-off the difference. Company A may also play games by"losing claims" at random and especially near end-of-month, end-of quarter or end-of-year; they also reject about 10% for no appearent reason. Company B pays less, 75%, but actually pays without playing games and allow the provider to collect the difference from the patient. Now your the doctor, who are you going to deal with? some companies have more patients to send you, some have less; for some you may be the only provider and will get more than you can handle. Some companies have higher quality patients, you know ones that actually cooperate with treatment, show up for appointments and on time and appreciate the work your doing, others get the lower quality patients that no-show with out notice, don't participate with the care and blame the provide for not have a magic wand to make everything instantly all right. That's how the Medical/Dental business works.
Oh you silly silly boy, everybody know that wasn't porn surfing, that was an under-cover congressional investigation into the vile and abusive internet pornographic industry.
sure Series 71 810 ftlbs @ 1200 rpm 290 hp governed at 2100 rpm (supercharged & turbocharged/aftercooled), that's some serious power. Detroit Diesel 2-Cycle Engine has video and sound clips of the various engines. Hummm a 2-71 would give you about 80 HP and one interesting and very chopper.
I live in Port Huron Mi and garbage is not the same as coal, garbage is what continuous stream of trucks bring in, mostly from Toronto a 4 hr. drive from here by car, and from New York and New Jersey! Garbage is what is in the back of the truck that almost runs me off the expressway or jack-knifes and closes the expreessway for 6 hours because the sleepy fucking canadian driver is trying to squeeze in an extra run each day and running with a bogus log book. I guess you can tell this is a hot-button issue arround here and how we react when some Canadian or a New York liberal rags on us because we didn't sign the Koyoto treaty that Nobody is going to meat anyways. At least coal would be usefull.
He meant it moves more energy than it consumes in elecctricity, kind of like the truck that delivers Diesel fuel to the station delivers more fuel than it burns.
The real reason that 2 cycle gasoline engines pollute more is because the engine uses the air-fuel mixture that is normally compressed in the engine's crankcase to scavenge the exhaust fumes from the combustion chamber. This means that to completely scavenge the chamber, some of the air-fuel mixture will enter the exhaust system unburned causing pollution. I run all my 2-cycles on synthetic oil at 100:1 ratios, I seriously doubt that there is more oil in the fuel than would squeeze past the rings in a 4-cycle engine. If an injector could be made to inject the fuel directly into the combustion chamber after the exhaust port is closed, the difference between 2-cycle and 4-cycle pollution would be much closer or the same. GM makes or made a 2-cycle diesel which uses a 6-71 supercharger to scavenge the cylinders with clean air and of course like all diesels the fuel is injected after the exhaust is closed; a 6 cylinder 2-cycle diesel is an ass-kicking engine.
Tactical refers to qualities like portability and rugedness in this case, also qualities like low signiture as in little noise, no smoke, not much IR for the bad guys to see in other words something that blends into the enviroment rather than contrasts with it. Also Diesels running on ethanol/methane-propane gases are incredably clean, a diesel generator running petroDiesel usually requires an oil change after 24 hrs of opertation, the same engine can often go 350 hrs. on natural gas. Most of the nasties in petroDeisel exhaust just aren't there because the fuel mollecule are too small to generated them, you can't get 18 carbon polycyclic carcinogens when your fuel only has 1 through 4 carbons!
The inpression I got is the drug is approved for use in treating a very rare metabalic disease called congenital lactose acidosis, I haven't been able to find out much, but the little out their sounds pretty gruesome and life threatening. So even if the treatment is effective for one condition doesn't automatically mean the drug would be approved for conditions that have other treatments. This drug does have side effects, causing cancer is one of them.
I'd like to be able to say I am a Googlebot those suckers seem to index a lot of pages that I'm expected to pay for!

If Walmarts keeps giving out discount coupons to everybody that hit the site with Firefox, that'll change real fast!
