Finally good news! MMJukebox is one of the worst programs i have ever seen! If you don't believe me check the user comments on download.com. I bought an iPod (I have a windows box) and was totally frustrated with MM: slow, bloated, buggish! Almost as bad as RealOne! I tried the trial versions of XPlay and EphPod, and they were quite better. Now I'm very happy with iTunes.
The app was fine, they decided to rewrite it just for buzzword compliance. The boss wanted to insert into slideshows terms like J2EE, XML, CORBA and so on. Now they left a site section done with my code and, guess what, it's way faster than the new JSP section!
That's funny.. I made a CMS in php one year ago for a website and the boss decided not to use it and rewrite everything with JSP and servlets because he said php couldn't handle "high-traffic" sites (and the boss considers a 15,000 users/day site a "high-traffic" one)...
