I don't really know how it works in Florida, but in most of the world if someone is stalking you that does not give you the right to attack him, and if you do attack him, and the person finds his physical integrity threatened it is justifiable for him to use proportional force against you.
You need to give them to get your ID Card, and Driver's License, for example. And although we are far from being a heaven of individual freedom, here in Brazil the corporations have way less legislation power than they have in US and we have a lot more freedom of expression than most developed countries.
Our government is far from being facist or even communist, on the other hand our corruption levels are higher than average, though.
The ID Card only contains the Thumbprint, but the card you fill to get the ID, which stays with the government, contains the fingerprint of all your fingers for both hands.
Singles weren't a common practice everywhere around the world. Maybe they were easily available in US and Europe (I don't really know about that), but they have been quite rare here in Brazil from the Vinyl Era to these days..
Everything in the universe is relative. There is no virtuous big company in this world, but compared to the others, despite all its wrongdoings, Google is still the least harmful of all. That and the fact it more often than not makes the lives of the other, more hateful companies, harder, is why Google is so loved.
