I would see this as yet another argument to start transitioning to basic income/negative income tax. As disruptive technologies accelerate, job stability will approach zero as entire industries will be obsoleted overnight. People will pass laws to slow down progress and cling to islands of stability in their lives and jobs, but one day it won't be enough and change will happen regardless.
