That's one of the most interesting points in the article. More people should think like that. In the end, software is just a tool.
We tried it with my team, the interface is incredibly slow, but it works without problems. I just can't understand how an IM application released in 2013 manages to be so slow on a pretty modern computer....

Developers May Be Getting 90% of Their Documentation From Google, and 50% of the time the first result is from Stack Overflow and it contains the correct information.
I haven't booted Windows since Valve released the games I play for Linux. As most "Linux Gamers" that don't enjoy Tux Racer, when I take breaks from work I want to play for a while, and that's the only reason I own a legal copy of Windows.
It's not HL2 Episode 3, but I'm very happy with this.
