That may be true of permanent exclusivity like the franchises on consoles, as mentioned by the Coward above, I seriously doubt anyone will be thinking "I just can't wait 2 more months to play PvZ2."
Although, even if the exclusivity is short-lived, it may serve to give the impression that one platform is being favored by developers.
