my cable is .4MB/sec then
because i frequently d/l 50MB in just a few seconds

not bad for $AU75/month

T1: 190KB/s
56kbps: ~6KB/s
therefore T1 is only 30 times faster than dial-up??

Can someone point me in the right direction where i can read something that explaines what i have got wrong here?

a T1 is 190KB/s?? are you sure?
i have had 350 KiloBytes on my cable, yes KBytes

a 50 MegaByte .avi in 2 minutes

what's going on??
