This speaks volumes about the longevity of old, classic arcade and console games. For someone to spend so much time on Pitfall(and recently Pac-Man) to acheive a perfect score is considerably more impressive than a perfect score in Tekken Tag Tournament. Give me Bubble Bobble over Metal Gear Solid any day.
Considering the PS2 is most overhyped piece of shit to be foisted on the public in many years. If he had bought Dreamcasts or (snigger) Indremas, he might have a viable network. Otherwise, they would be most useful stacked on top of each other as a nice art piece in his tent.
I predict that wireless internet will not be ready for the prime time until we have a suitably fast backbone to support it fully. Once that is in place(be it DSL,Cable, whatever) we will be able to set repeaters/filters for the wireless. Right now, the main difficulties are wireless devices that cannot properly parse HTML, but we need a new solution, and it isn't WAP. 2/3 years from now, when Imode is here, maybe Wireless Internet will be areality, but not now. It sucks too much for the general populace to appreciate.
If I show anyone WAP, it is wholly unimpressive. To describe this as wireless internet is misleading, and the populous will just ignore it until it is flashier and more exciting.
