Maybe I'm way off here, but I am a converted Win user that loves macs, and it hurts to see macs getting their asses kicked in sales and user percentages so, I say, a new look (hello iMac) or new interfaces is welcome. If it gets more people on the mac wagon, lets get it goin'.
I love the old look as much as anybody, but technology changes and people have to change with it or macs will always be a minority. So suck it up and learn how to use/program it or you will always be a niche market programmer.
