  1. How about cached searches? on Incorporating Machine Learning into Firefox 2.0? · · Score: 0

I'm thinking something along the lines of cached meta content, so one day you can say "What was the URL to that site about cicada mating rituals I went to 3 months ago?" If the meta content and URL got stored away somewhere, you could do a query on it and find your long lost URL. I don't know how many times I couldn't find something I went to months ago that I forgot to bookmark. *DOHHH*

For all you unfortunate XP users out there, you can use the following command to uninstall windows messanger completely, if you so choose..

    RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove

Copy and paste into your run box, click yes to uninstall and your done. Hope this helps..

  4. Re: Furrymuck on MUDs And The People Who Love Them · · Score: 1

I've had minimal experience w/ MUDs, but I can't say enough about MUCKs. Sure, there isn't always the preset hitpoints, stamina, etc, but like chipuni said, where else can you "laugh while you tumble down a hill into a bank of flowers"? I spent several years on MUCKs actually, ranging from RanmaMUCK, EternityMUCK, FinalMUCK, and others. The freedom to create and express yourself cannot be surpassed.. anywhere. MUCKs rule!
