Which makes me wonder, on the all things that interest geeks, why do they ignore things like communication? Why is there no comprehensive research done towards generation human readable text by automation?
This is nothing more than some twisting to make it "nerdy" article. The original pagerank algorithm is just about relations between different pages. Gee, how did not anyone think about there being relation between different body parts when cancer spreads??
I think it would be good to move from salary to commission and/or contractor based structure instead of fixed salary. I've been living on such for the last 5 years. I get no fixed salary, I get paid exactly for what I do. I think it's more honest too, and of course, if you are good you get paid more than what your salary might be.
Then we also don't have problems with breaks - if you feel like you can do good work, but need a break - sure. Your work is paid by your performance anyway, so feel free to do what you want.
Why would you be looking for a gadget with so small screen and that is always attached to your hand? Smart phones and (to a lesser extend now) PDA's serve that purpose much better.
Now, I would understand if you did actually say it was for your style. There is still certain amount of glamour and style in wearing a watch, especially if it represents your other outfit and the way you act. If you are a rich guy, it's a good way to show it. Women know this and men notice it too. I would totally bang a guy with a nice stylish watch, good jeans and a tight white shirt. But as for a tech gadget? Hell no!
Just get a nice watch that represents your style. No, not the geeky type. Something that makes you look good and gives you respect from men and women. Leave the tech stuff to your mobile phone and home. You don't need to make everything in your life resolve around tech and geek stuff. For once, be fabulous!
