  1. Built-in handicap features on Adapting Existing Federal Web Sites For The Disabled? · · Score: 1

Most web browsers offer features for the handicapped, and if people are visually handicapped, they already have a braille reader setup for the most part. You could argue that the sites are already accessible by the disabled because of this. Not to mention taht this gives the disabled a choice of what tool they want to sue to maket he page more accessible for them. There's no way you could insure the page is 100% accessible for all types of disabilities. It's much easier to put that burden on the end user.

  2. Re:Advantages of emulation on Whatever Happened To SNES Emulators For The Playstation? · · Score: 1

In most emulators though, you can save wherever you want, you don't have to spend money on the console (there are plenty of emulators that aren't shareware), and sometimes in newer emulators you actually get a higher quality game. Snes9x for example can take advantage of OpenGL and Glide to help smooth out the picture. Not only that, but most emulators have features for Action Replay, Gameshark, GameGenie, Goldfinger etc., on a normal system, it's not possible to have different codes from all three of those at once.

  3. Circumventing on Ask Andre Hedrick About Hard Drive Copy Protection · · Score: 1

If 4C got what they wanted, wouldn't it be likely that people all around the internet would come up with quick and easy ways to circumvent the copy protection? Even if the hardrives blocked against special software that hackers develop to circumvent it, the programs could just be made to look like something different (or distributed as source code). Have you considered pointing out to 4C that it would be theorettically unenforcable?
