On: Electronic Music 101?

In the Electronic music genre, Kraftwerk is an absolute must. Pioneers in the field. If the early albums are a bit too slow try "Kraftwerk The Mix" which is a bunch of old numbers remixed around '89, by the Kraftwerk guys themselves!

Other recomendations would be Orbital, Etnica, Aphex Twin (aka Richard D. James)

Also listen to various shoutcast streams, and pay attention to who plays. This has worked great for me!

It might still be chemical warfare, but only in the sense of using chemicals. But then all warfare could be considered chemical.
