    What are the cost of these antennas? If they are much more then some tin foil or an already purchased pot like the guy is using then their antenna is MUCH more cost effective.

    OH don't get me wrong, the science is interesting but unless something actually gets made from it it's about as interesting as reading an article in Science Magazine and about as useful to my everyday life as well.

    Like most sensational announcements of breakthroughs in engineering on Slashdot; If I can't buy products that use it at my local hardware store or via Amazon for my iphone/laptop/electronic device, it might as well not exist.

    So what that it was invented. The REAL story would be an announcement of a product that will be SOLD. This story is just a teaser.

    With all due respect to Richard Stallman and others who agree with that philosophy, to expect that people are not going to write commercial software for free platforms is just plain daffy. Is it so unreasonable to expect a combination of the software?

    2. I wonder if the advertisers on those sites will mind if the number of eyeballs looking at their ads as a result of being on a search engine that currently has a MUCH smaller market share? My guess it that they will demand to pay LESS.

    I think there is always going to be a segment of the userbase that hates a "top dog" and will switch if they think one particular company or product is getting too powerful. The differences between searches in Google and Bing are minor, so being that is the case why would 10% switch? For no reason other than because there is satisfaction in not doing what everybody else is doing.

    Just my 2 cents.

    Oh I don't doubt that people will camcorder it, but given an analog restriction I'd still bet that somebody would go for the pixel perfect copy from the screen.

    I kid you not, if they turn off analog component video I GAURANTEE you that somebody will engineer something that fits over the front of 1080p display and acurately captures every last bit. You may not be able to buy it for your home, but stuff will continue to get onto the internet.

    The more people foam at the mouth yelling at beck who is himself foaming at the mouth the higher his ratings go.

    The loss of the case will not make his ratings go down, it will make them go UP.

    Beck is just depressing. Dennis Miller is MUCH more enjoyable.

    It's easy to be cynical. In a lot of ways I am as well. I'm just saying that it COULD happen. What the conditions are that would allow it to happen are foggy at best in my mind. People do change their minds (Supreme court). Probable? That's debatable. Impossible or "not in a million years" is a bit over the top.

    Only in modern history (since) the beginning part of the 20th century. Saying it will never happen ignores that the opposite happened in the first place.

    I KNOW that MacOS 10 is OS X.

    I'm asking if anybody has compiled a version of Chromium to use X11 instead of using Cocoa.
