I was just copy and pasting from their web page - but I can believe they make air conditioners and toaster ovens. And they probably demand that every product turn a profit.
My kids have iPods and an iPhone and a Macbook Air lying around the house. Not my cup of tea personally. And yes - Apple sues too much over stupid (and increasingly invalidated) patents. And yes, it reminds me of SCO's business strategy, and its a really really bad business strategy.
They aren't all slender because they don't eat - they eat like horses. But its a lot less red meat (as in a LOT less), almost no dairy, and tons of rice and veggies.
How is Qt still relevant?

It's the framework for KDE, which is the excellent, fast UI environment I use on my Linux rigs. Apparently a huge number of other projects either use it currently, or have used it in the past, including a number of well-known projects: Amazon Kindle, Google Earth, Adobe Photoshop, MythTV, Rosegarden, Skype, Virtualbox, VLC media player.

is that they know how to build a massive international product line from the ground up with minimal expense, and they rarely over-extend themselves. I've known some Korean engineers that worked for them, and the company does not seem to be subject to the same Wall Street pressures that cause so many companies to shoot themselves in the face. If they decide to get into a business, they have a solid plan that they stick to. If they decide not to get into a business, they won't be persuaded no matter what the latest whims of the consumer market would seem to dictate.
I have no idea what their anti-trust $ituation is. Just messing around with the $am$ung and $$ spellings, a play on Micro$oft's prior marketplace domination of Apple. $orry if I wasn't clear about my angle on thi$.
Hollywood Movies = Big screen, 1.4 hour-long advertisements for Apple, Gucci, Rayban, BMW, etc. All for the low price of $12 bucks, plus another $12 for crappy popcorn and a soda. The companies even pay to have their products "placed" in the films.
Wikipedia tracks at least 88 Guy Fawkes wearing kiddies arrested - maybe more, because the US, UK and Netherlands coordinated police effort has not been accurately tracked yet: http://it.slashdot.org/story/12/12/28/156208/mcafee-labs-predicts-decline-of-anonymous. That's the problem with shooting ion cannons that broadcast your IP address.

would probably be a much better comparison.
does it work on neckbeards??

The whole "they'll sue you for this and that" thing is getting really fucking old.
You are right - Apple should seriously stop being a patent troll and slow down with the lawsuits. Although, I'm sure Darl McBride would be proud.
Samsung fanbois here are also Steve Jobs fans, since he led the revolution they're all trying to claim now for themselves
on Apple's patents on "making something", "thinking about making something", and "dropping acid to free your mind to think about making something"?

Guess I've been falling behind on my kiddie-script loser news. I hear they get caught more recently using their Xbox handles over IRC.
I can tell you from experience that Federal judges have a very poor sense of humor.
But I'm also not sitting in jail for uselessly firing a cannon at PayPal or Visa.
Your 4Chan Ion Cannon buddies also thought the Secret Service would NEVER be able to figure out their IP addresses.
Just kidding.
That was a MUCH better time. And he could order you killed for no reason. Good times! What was the King back then - the 0.000001%??
Nice work Darron - good proof of concept. Looks like some people did get some use out of the project.
It's an add-on. My bad. By the way, I think the better port is here: http://www.griffin.net/2010/01/hacking-the-amazon-kindle-dx-part-2-qt-and-sudoku.html

I guess I would call them the anti-Sony.

Or $$ for short. Move over M$, $am$ung is now the company that needs Apple to survive as a competitor in order to avoid anti-trust pitfalls.
(as did Microsoft) that in the end, they really need Apple to survive as a competitor in order to avoid all the anti-trust traps.
