I agree with that. I think common interests help build a relationship, but I have seen plenty of couple who live different lifestyles very happy together.
In my case, I met my fiancee at work. We both went out for her birthday and realized that night that we were right for each other. It wasn't love at first sight, because there is no such thing. We've worked at our relationship, but I truly feel I have found my soulmate.
I'm surprised this hasn't been found earlier. I wonder how long this has been going on?

Katz, perhaps you were referring to his roles in theses movies, as apposed to how the movies actually did? I don't think either did very well at the box office. Having seen Contact, though, I thought his character was very weak, in a very well done movie.
