One, now Facebook can get their hands on your credit card info. I guess they're just trying to make themselves profitable after the failed shares move. I just hope people will remember to deauthorize Facebook from buying slurpies and selling their detes without their consent.
Secondly, if this was just a deterrent to spam & digital white noise, they would refund you that dollar once you connect with the person.
If nothing, it will save on non-existent congestion for FB.
