I was totally fine with Millennium.
Vista was slow, I had good hardware at the moment, so it was alright for me.
Put effort to like Metro on 8.1, sucks... (sigh) but I had to keep up with progress...
Did upgrade to 10 few days back.
But this ends here....
The last callback\telemetry MS will have from my home PC is that I'm downloading Ubuntu 14.04 and Universal USB installer.
