  1. Thereâ(TM)s also some fairly sophisticated low power ardware that recognizes the trigger phrase âoehey siri.â Actually sending all audio to the cloud all the time would be a huge power / bandwidth / privacy problem.

I've been driving my Model S for five years, and I still wouldn't trade it for anything but another Tesla. I expect it to hold up as well or better than any internal combustion engine based vehicle I've ever owned.

Collectively deciding to vote is precisely what can help our youth build the sort of future they want. Giving up their right to vote will just ensure that theyâ(TM)re saddled with burdens shifted from other populations who do vote!

Most of the time you don't wait for it to charge at all. You plug it in at night at home, and so you literally never have to wait for charging except on a road trip. We've driven our Model S all the way up and down the West Coast, from San Diego to Vancouver, without a problem or regret. As others have noted you just plug it in and stretch your legs, grab a coffee, or stop for a quick meal. Being able to walk away from the car while charging is a huge win over refueling a gasoline vehicle. Stopping for 20 minutes every few hours just isn't the huge burden it's portrayed as. I'll easily trade that in order to know that I'm starting with full range every morning instead of realizing I need to stop for gas on my way to the first appointment of the day.

Nobody remembers it because it didn't happen. Some observers thought it odd to announce a console that won't ship for another year at the same time a new revision of the original was announced, but that doesn't amount to mocking. We don't yet know what the ship schedule will be for Sony's offerings.

Tesla doesn't work with independent dealerships because dealerships have proven over and over again that they add costs, but don't demonstrably add value to the process. Buying my Model S in California was the easiest, most predictable process of any car I've ever purchased. Better yet, Tesla service centers aren't revenue sucking leeches – they're there to ensure that Tesla ownership is a positive experience where problems are taken care of efficiently. There's plenty of competition for Tesla in the form of other manufacturers and their dealerships. What there isn't is any competition with the horrific manufacturer+dealer business model, and that's what needs to change.

You really think transgender individuals represent 1 in 100,000 people? You'd be off by roughly two orders of magnitude, with the exact amount being in doubt in part because we keep insisting that everyone fits into a simple either/or gender scheme. Throw interest individuals into the mix and now you're adding in people whose genetic sex doesn't fit a nice, neat binary pattern. We've tried the stick-your-head-in-the-sand approach and it fails for enough people that it's worth reconsidering what makes the most sense.

It’s not a question of political views that’s at issue here, but of recognition of basic human rights that some people seem to have problems with. How many more families need to be torn apart before we finally say enough is enough and take a stand against attitudes that lead to crusades against someone's own children in the name of “family values?"
