Genetically modified crops can be very good for future earth but with wrong intention this can lethal for our existence. Even if the intention is not wrong there can thousands of unknown risks....So in short....Don't dare to f*** with nature...
LETS stop rubbishing Bill Gates. I know personally, he has been involved many projects, spending nights on very backwards places and taking pains for those people who doesn't have any access to minimum facilities.
Those who throwing guns at him, shouldn't do this as they are miles away from fatcts.. Just don't criticise someone to prove yourself worthy to others.
Managers and Leaders are two different things. Managers are defined by their roles and Leaders relates to a skill. So a Manager can be a very bad leader and samely a code developer can be a very good potential good leader. The main issue is we tend to mixup managers and leaders.
Anyway, the current industry pattern which is also driven by the society, is to reward who frontend with the higher manamegment. This is all about accountability. Management needs someone (single person) to blame and those who can answer all their questions and stupidity.
Most of time the presentations of CEO or CTO are prepared by someone who is much lower in the ranks but they don't get any rewards but the newspaper headlines praise all for the CEO.
