Talk about community trends and hating Microsoft well... I don't hate Microsoft. IMHO there are some things Microsoft does better!!
OMG did I say that?
What is all this crap with distributions anyway? Linux is a tool, windows is a tool.
The wise man choses the right tool for the job. if i want to play half life i use win98 if i want to use Linux I use Redhat-- i have tried slackware, suse, and redhat-- after the install is done and there is a working system what difference does the distribution make? Bottom line-- redhat is going to be supported and easier for the average person to install.
