I received a Pebble as a wedding gift, and I was reluctant as to whether or not I'd like it...I now wear it every single day, and feel naked when it's not with me. The benefit of an "always-at-a-glance" notification system can't be overstated. Granted, the battery life is such that I only need to recharge it a few times a week. While the prospect of charging my watch every night would be a step down for me, I'm already in the habit of charging my smartphone every night, so my evening routine wouldn't change all that much... Given the aforementioned benefits, I wouldn't consider the nightly charge a dealbreaker whatsoever.
I think this is a "Don't knock it til you try it." situation.
If we had access to the telemetry as say an FBX or Alembic file, it'd be pretty trivial to produce a visual representation of what happened, using what little video can be deciphered....without that, I don't see how anything can be salvaged
I've made similar comments to those who've waved negative news articles about bitcoin in my face. The interesting thing about all this is; it was never about "Bitcoin", it was about the concept of cryptocurrency, driven by the revolutionary ability to create digital scarcity. You'd better believe though, that if governments get involved, the whole idea of a publically viewable global transaction ledger (i.e. blockchain.info) will never see the light of day.
it seems to me like the interest is in the minutia, specifically how they achieved a more film-like quality to their renders without wasting overhead on expensive and unnecessary raytracing. Is it worth a story on slashdot? probably not. Is this response a gross oversimplification? sure!
I fail to see how the ownership of the intellectual property in question would have any impact related to the taxation of imported goods. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it as cut and dry as "if the IP was produced outside of America, it gets taxed punitively"?

Not sure why you were modded down. Came here to recommend BTSync. Works flawlessly across all my devices.
