Having a licensed, approved, certified and authorized DVD player for Linux is only a victory for people who like to watch movies on their computer monitor.

Who said anything about having to watch the movie on your monitor? As I understand it, hardware mpeg decoder cards are supported, so there is your crystal clear S-Video out to TV right there. I have a DXR2 and currently have to watch movies under windows, but they do LOOK gorgeous.

The postal service can not be trusted to deliver mail on time. Never could be, which is one reason why so many people use email instead of snail mail. The point is, that you need to get a credit card from a bank that allows paying of the balance online. I have my credit card linked to my savings account and I simply transfer the money whenever I want to. Very convenient, and a good idea. Oh, and make sure that they are using strong encryption like Citibank (my bank) does.

    Cheers,
