I've been using a Palm device for about 6 months now. I made the decision to get one after seeing co-workers lugging around heavy (and expensive) Franklin planners.
Palm Pilots are not for eveyone. I've never been able to truly use a paper planner. I like my information to be neat and organized. Jotting things down on pieces of paper is not organized.
I take my Palm VII everywhere with me. My wife and I use it for travel information on the weekends. It's a great device.
It keeps me organized at work by allowing me to keep ALL of my appointments easily accessible. Synching it with my PC is the best part. This way, I can maintain one address and date book that I can access at home, work, or anwhere else.
Handheld devices are just a new way of solving an old problem: organization.

After going to Barnes & Noble's web site, I figured out what the deal is. This is a 24 pack of books. Of course, Amazon didn't bother to mention that!
