All this proves is that Kanada has a bigger penis. Seriously. Clearly we can't use this value in computations, and the value of pi to, say, 40 places is enough to calculate the circumference of the observable universe to the precision of a proton.
Have you bothered to even look at OS X and its insides?
After you do that, *then* you can say it's for idiots and artists.
Besides, Apple has every right to protect what they've spent million$ on. I'm sick of hearing these damned stories.
It appears that your operating system is not supported by
shockwave.com. We support the following operating systems:
Windows 95,
Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows NT 4.0 (or later), and Mac OS 8.1
(or later).
Ugh. I'm using Mac OS X (albeit Lynx). I hate these websites which think they're so clever. Let the customers decide whether they want to view the page!
I'm running OS X right now, and I can tell you it's a great system. Everything about the system is really nice at the core, having at least a decade of refinement. The _only_ thing that prevents OS X from dominating the marketplace is Job's unwillingness to make it run on Intel-based hardware. It's confirmed that Darwin runs fine on Intel machines, but the main problem that Jobs has is that Apple is primarily a hardware company.
Despite the fact that huge risks are involved in sending someone off into space (and not all have to do with poor engineering. Two cases I can think of are the ever-famous "Titanic" earlier last century, and the "Challenger" mission),
the cost charged to a civilian sending himself into space (I remember seeing this on a Discovery channel special) was at or above $1 million.
Look, I know and have seen that managers can be terrible and do bad things, but what you've done is unacceptable. How do you justify this?
This kind of thing leads to more of an escalation between employer and employee. How the hell do you expect to get any more respect at your company by doing this?
Pi has already been proven to be an irrational and transcendental number. A proof of its irrationality (which implies non-repetitiveness):
